Sapling Photography is a small, family-run photography business specialising in candid sessions for families, kids, and couples. We keep things simple and sustainable — second-hand and vintage cameras, natural light, and no big overheads — so we can stay affordable while focusing on what really matters: genuine moments
A sapling is about new beginnings — kids growing up, families changing, love starting out, or simply watching another day dawn. These ordinary, fleeting moments hold a quiet beauty of their own. That’s what we want our photos to capture: honest little glimpses of where you are right now, before it all shifts again.

Warrick is an engineer, a dad, and a lover of trees, music, bicycles and mountains. He brings a relaxed, parent’s-eye view to family photography — capturing the small moments that one day become smile lines. His goal is simple: to give you photos that feel honest, warm, and true to your story.

Molly
Molly is a lawyer, a mum, and a farm kid at heart with a love for music, animals and gardens. At Sapling, she’s the one behind the scenes — keeping the business organised, shaping our marketing, and making the first cull of photos before Warrick begins editing. Molly makes sure that every story we tell feels warm, genuine and full of life.

Warrick and Molly have spent over half their lives together. First and foremost, they’re best friends — partners second. They share two beautiful girls and a dog named Gin. Sapling Photography is their shared passion: a way of blending Warrick’s creative vision with Molly’s heart for people and stories.
